Trip Overview

Rapid Everest Base Camp Trekking is a shorter version of the 13 Days Everest Base Camp Trekking. 10 Days Everest Base Camp Trekking is designed for the trekkers having limited vacation time and willing to conquer the Everest Base Camp in short time. It is suited more to the travelers having previous trekking experiences in the higher altitude. The route follows the same as the 13 Days EBC trek but it has no acclimatization days in Namche Bazar and Dingboche. Exploring the Sherpa villages and unfolding local cultures, traditions is always an amazing experience. As the trek passes through the Sagarmatha National Park you can explore the flora and fauna of the park. Visiting several Buddhist monasteries including Tengboche Monastery-the biggest in the Khumbu Region, walking on the rough trails through the Mani walls with enjoying the superb views of the high Himalayas makes the trek a complete one.

Leaving the footprints in the foothills of the Everest a lifetime experience. Standing in Kalapatthar (5,545m.) to witness sunrise in Mount Everest is probably the best moment of your life. The astonishing 360 views of the high Himalayas from Kalapatthar is absolutely amazing. From Everest Base Camp the trail retraces same way back to Lukla. Trekking back to Lukla becomes relatively easier as most of the trail is downhill and easy.

Trekking in the Nepal Himalayas is a seasonal adventure. The best time for Rapid Everest Base Camp Trekking is spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November).
