Hardest adventure comes with excellent view. The exquisite view of Snowy Mount Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8516m), Island peak (6189 m), Makalu (8463m), Khumbu Himalayan offers Amadablam base camp trekking. Though this is freshly trekking trail present immense enrapture. The base camp is remained at the elevation of 4650 m above from sea level. The dazzling Himalayan ridge and pristine lake at amadablam base camp is absolutely mind-blogging.
Amadablam peak (6812 m) is one of the most esoteric, awkward and intoxicate peak in the Everest Region. Ama Dablam means Mother necklace in the local language. The name comes from the unique shape where it seems a mother is holding her baby with a necklace like a glacier. More than 400 years old Tyenbouche Monastery, diverse but amazing landscape, culture & tradition of Sherpa attract. Himalayan herbs & spices, Flora & Fauna of Everest region are the splendiferous things to scrutinize.
The spring season (March – April) & Autumn (September – November) is considered as best season to traverse. Amadablam base camp trek is itself an astounding mountaineering trip and it becomes even more complete and noteworthy with experienced, knowledgeable trekking.
A scenic 40 minutes flight from Kathmandu takes you to Lukla. In Lukla meet remaining crews then start trek to Phakding. It is 3 hours gentle walk through the banks of Dudh Koshi River to Phakding. Overnight at Phakding.
After breakfast, we follow Dudhkoshi river we then pass several suspension bridges. With 6.5 hours walking we reach Namche Bazar which is the trading center of Khumbu Region. Overnight.
A rest day in Namche Bazar. This day we visit Tourist Visit Center to collect the knowledge of Sherpa traditions, cultures and flora and faunas of Khumbu Region. We also can hike up to Thame. As Namche is the last place to check the gears we also have time to check our gears and if something missed then we can hire it there. Overnight.
This day the trail goes ups and downs and magnificent views of Mt Everest, Mt Nuptse, Mt Lhotse and close views of Thamserkhu and Amadablam will accompany along the way to Tengboche. As Tengboche is one of the best mountain view point we can enjoy the superb views of mountains. Tengboche also has the biggest Buddhist Monastery of Everest Region. Enjoy exploring. Overnight.
Early morning we will have our breakfast, after then we will resume our trekking. This day we will be trekking for three to four hours where we can enjoy stunning views of Amadablam along the way. In Pangboche, we will get chance to explore the oldest Buddhist monastery of Everest region. Overnight at hotel.
A long trekking day when we will get to our ultimate goal. After early morning breakfast we start our trekking from Pangboche to Amadablam Base Camp which takes three/four hours trekking. In base camp we will enjoy the 360 panoramic views of mighty Himalayas. After spending some wonderful moments in Base Camp, we will then trek back to Pangboche for overnight. Overnight at Pangboche.
Our trail from Pangboche descends down through dense forest where we can see some musk deer. It takes us seven to eight hours to reach wonderful Khumjung Village from Pangboche where we will stay overnight.
Today, we will first descent down to Namche Bazar and continues to descent down national park check point Monju. From Monju we further trek through dense forest and then follow the west bank of Dudh Koshi river to Phakding.
With 3-4 hours descend trail trek from Phakding we will reach to Lukla. In evening there will be a farewell dinner with Sherpa and Guides. Overnight at Lukla.
We take early morning flight to get back Kathmandu from Lukla. In free time we can explore around Thamel to do some last minutes shopping. In evening join farewell dinner organized by Trek Nepal Himalayas.

We went on a short tour to Bhutan and wow what an amazing place! It is so beautiful with its mountain regions and traditional culture. Visiting Tigers Nest monetarist was definitely the highlight of the Bhutan trip. We later returned to Kathmandu and made our way to Pokhara where we took off for the Annapurna Base Camp trek. This was my first time trekking and my fitness level is not the best but Badri and the boys (the sherpa's) were great at catering the trip to our needs. All timings along the way were perfect and we all got to ABC and back without a hitch. Badri and the boys made us feel like we were part of their family and were all smiles and fun. We all played cards together of a night where they taught us to play Dumbal and we taught them Uno. They went above and beyond to cater for us and were watching us like hawks for signs altitude sickness as we got closer to the top. All guest houses that we stayed out were pleasant and all had hot showers. Badri was well respected by the locals along the way and we were welcomed everywhere we went. I actually felt like a bit of a VIP on the mountain when we were trekking with Badri!
I really loved my experience in Nepal and all thanks to Trek Nepal Himalayas. I'm going to miss these guys and can't wait to go back!
I recently spent three and a half weeks holidaying in Nepal with Trek Nepal Himalayas. My partner and I arrived a few days early from the organised tour and Badri from Trek Nepal Himalayas was very accommodating to us by organising our extra accommodation, picking us up from the airport, and organised an extra day tour for us to Nagarkot which was really nice. They also arranged for us to visit the old palace (now a museum) and the Garden of dreams. After the rest of the group arrived we did some sight seeing around Kathmandu visiting the monkey temple, durbar square, the Boudhanath temple and the crematorium.
Our guide Nawin and and other guides arranged throughout the tour were all very knowledgeable of the history of each place that we visited and gave good commentary along the way. Next we went on a day trip to Badri's village. In organising this tour, our group wanted to help out after the earthquake. It turned out Badri's village was badly damaged by the quake and the school was destroyed.
When planing this trip we arranged with Badri for him to take us out to his village so we could make donations of stationary, toys and sporting goods to the school. The village was well off the beaten track and it was a unique opportunity to visit an area that tourists generally don't get to see. The scenery along the way was magic and the drive was quite an adventure. When we arrived the whole village was out to give us a warm friendly welcome with marigold flower necklaces and we each received a blessing. The kids were so excited to see us and were over the moon to receive our donations of stationary, sporting goods and toys.I t was a truly beautiful experience and these memories will stay in my heart forever. This went so well that Badri is now putting together optional side tours for future tour groups to visit his village and villages like his for tourists to make donations to the local schools. I highly recommend you do this as it is such a feel good moment and the emotional joy of it all will is so overwhelming it will make you teary.
A group of us trekked to Everest Base Camp with Trek Nepal Himalayas recently. It was a great trip that was full of memorable moments and amazing views. Our guide Badri was very patient with each of us. He was knowledgeable, encouraging, accommodating and helpful. He not only provided excellent guide services and made sure the group had a safe trip, but also took care of his porter team. Our trip wouldn’t be this successful without the encouragement and support from Badri and the assistant guide Karan. During the time we stayed in Kathmandu, Badri and his staff offered great assistance to ensure we had a great time. If you are planning to visit Nepal, I highly recommend Trek Nepal Himalayas.
Three weeks with Trek Nepal Himalayas was an incredible experience. Our adventure included a day tour of Kathmandu, Everest flight with champagne at sunrise, flights to Bhutan with a few days touring around there. Our highlight in Bhutan was the climb to Tiger's Nest monastery and the amazing views from there.
Ten days trekking to Annapurna Base camp was wonderful. Our guide Badri made sure all our needs were met along the way. Nawin, our first in charge was very accommodating as well as the other 3 porters who lugged our stuff so we only had to carry a day pack.
Sunrise at Poon Hill was a must as well as putting up prayer flags at sunrise at the summit of our trip, Annapurna base camp. Just fab.
