The Everest Base Camp Yoga Trek will start from Kathmandu after exploring the wonderful gift of ancient i.e. Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath Stupa, the crematory place “Pashupatinath”, The monkey temple “Swoyambhunath”.
The meditation is a practice where an individual focuses their mind on a particular object, thought or activity to achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm state. It improves your body strength, relieves stress, sharpens the mind, and calms the nervous system.
Meditation (yoga) may be done while sitting, repeating a mantra, and closing the eyes in a quiet environment. The yoga has been practiced since antiquity in numerous religious traditions and beliefs. Each day we begin with meditation, pranayama, and asana practice, followed by breakfast prepared by the local Sherpa people. We then trek through incredible scenery, giving you an opportunity to unhitch from the outside world and tune into your true self.
Spring (March-May) and Autumn (September-November) is considered as the best season for Everest Base Camp yoga Trek. Basically, during the Autumn and Spring season, the sky is crystal clear, views of Himalayas are mind-blogging and picturesque, little snowfall can be expected that also increase the beauty of the Himalayas and mild temperature; neither hot nor cold increase the relaxation level during the yoga trek.
Day 01: Scenic flight to Lukla (45 minutes) and trek to Phakding (2,652m. /4-5 hours trekking/ 8km approx.): Early morning take a scenic flight to Lukla. From Lukla, you trek will begin. Meet all crews there and start your trekking to Phakding. A walk via Dudhkoshi River to Phakding is an amazing experience. Overnight at the teahouse.
Day 02: Trek to Namche Bazar (3,440m. /5-6 hours trekking/ 10km approx.).: –
The second day of the trekking, take early breakfast and start hiking to Namche Bazar, as the height rises the trek gets exciting. On a clear day, you can see the glimpse of Mount Everest before reaching Namche Bazar. Namche Bazar is known as the Sherpa Capital and is the last point to get the gears needed for the trekking. Overnight at Namche Bazar.
Day 03: Acclimatization day.
Explore Sherpa Capital. It is always better to have an acclimatization day in Namche Bazar which allows your body to adapt the thin air. You can also explore the Sherpa capital in the day time. Overnight at the teahouse.
Day 04: Trek to Tengboche (3870m./5-6 hours trekking/ 10km approx.): –
One of the exciting day of the trekking. Start your trekking after the breakfast to Tengboche. A gentle walk to Tengboche is always a good one. From Tengboche, one can get the magnificent views of mountains including Mount Everest. Visiting Tengboche monastery is another highlight of the day. Overnight at the teahouse.
Day 05: Trek to Dingboche (4360m./5-6 hours trekking/ 8km approx.): –
Get up early morning to catch the sunrise. After breakfast starts the trek towards Dingboche. Walk gently and take good rest. During the trek, you might feel the thin air. Overnight at Dingboche.
Day 06: Acclimatization day.: –
Next acclimatization day in Dingboche. Explore around the village on a free day. Overnight at the teahouse.
Day 07: Trek to Lobuche (4940m./ 5-6 hours trekking/ 7km approx.): –
Wonderful trekking day, along with the way the mighty Himalayas accompany from all sides. Trekking through the Khumbu Glacier moraine. The prayer flags and the stone shrines look just amazing. Overnight at Lobuche.
Day 08: Lobuche to Gorakshep (5170m.)-
Everest Base Camp (5364m.) and trek back to Gorakshep (7-8 hours trekking. / 15km approx.): A wonderful trekking day where we mostly trek through the glacier path. You can collect the awe-inspiring views of the snow-capped mountains in Everest Base Camp which includes Nuptse, Khumbuste, and Pumori. After spending a wonderful time, we then retrace back to Gorakshep for the overnight.
Day 09: Gorakshep to Kala Patthar (5545m.) and trek to Pheriche (4280m./ 6-7 hours trek/ 15km trekking):
Wake up early and hike up to Kalapathar, from there you can collect the stunning views of the mountains including Mount Everest. Then after we will retrace back to Gorakshep for the lunch. After lunch, we will trek all the way down to Pheriche for overnight.
Day 10: Trek back to Namche Bazar (5-6 hours trekking/ 15km approx.):
The trail we travel got many ups and downs. Our path also covers the rhododendron and juniper forest. The wonderful mountain views accompany us all the way back to Namche Bazar. Overnight.
Day 11: Trek back to Phakding (4-5 hours trekking/ 7 km approx.):
We retrace same way that we follow to get up to Namche Bazar. Overnight.
Day 12: Trek to Lukla (4-5 hours trekking/ 7km approx.):
A gentle trekking day. We trek slowly back to Lukla. At Lukla, we can take good rest on free time. Overnight.
Day 13: Scenic Flight back to Kathmandu (45 minutes flight):
Last minute shopping. Farewell dinner at night. Early morning we take a scenic flight back to Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, we will have free time for last minute shopping. In the evening, we will be having a farewell dinner with trekking crews. Overnight.
I was pleased with Trek Nepal Himalayas from a price and quality of service standpoint. The trek is a challenge and a responsible and knowledgeable guide is essential for a safe and inclusive trip. I would use them again.
We went on a short tour to Bhutan and wow what an amazing place! It is so beautiful with its mountain regions and traditional culture. Visiting Tigers Nest monetarist was definitely the highlight of the Bhutan trip. We later returned to Kathmandu and made our way to Pokhara where we took off for the Annapurna Base Camp trek. This was my first time trekking and my fitness level is not the best but Badri and the boys (the sherpa's) were great at catering the trip to our needs. All timings along the way were perfect and we all got to ABC and back without a hitch. Badri and the boys made us feel like we were part of their family and were all smiles and fun. We all played cards together of a night where they taught us to play Dumbal and we taught them Uno. They went above and beyond to cater for us and were watching us like hawks for signs altitude sickness as we got closer to the top. All guest houses that we stayed out were pleasant and all had hot showers. Badri was well respected by the locals along the way and we were welcomed everywhere we went. I actually felt like a bit of a VIP on the mountain when we were trekking with Badri!
I really loved my experience in Nepal and all thanks to Trek Nepal Himalayas. I'm going to miss these guys and can't wait to go back!
I recently spent three and a half weeks holidaying in Nepal with Trek Nepal Himalayas. My partner and I arrived a few days early from the organised tour and Badri from Trek Nepal Himalayas was very accommodating to us by organising our extra accommodation, picking us up from the airport, and organised an extra day tour for us to Nagarkot which was really nice. They also arranged for us to visit the old palace (now a museum) and the Garden of dreams. After the rest of the group arrived we did some sight seeing around Kathmandu visiting the monkey temple, durbar square, the Boudhanath temple and the crematorium.
Our guide Nawin and and other guides arranged throughout the tour were all very knowledgeable of the history of each place that we visited and gave good commentary along the way. Next we went on a day trip to Badri's village. In organising this tour, our group wanted to help out after the earthquake. It turned out Badri's village was badly damaged by the quake and the school was destroyed.
When planing this trip we arranged with Badri for him to take us out to his village so we could make donations of stationary, toys and sporting goods to the school. The village was well off the beaten track and it was a unique opportunity to visit an area that tourists generally don't get to see. The scenery along the way was magic and the drive was quite an adventure. When we arrived the whole village was out to give us a warm friendly welcome with marigold flower necklaces and we each received a blessing. The kids were so excited to see us and were over the moon to receive our donations of stationary, sporting goods and toys.I t was a truly beautiful experience and these memories will stay in my heart forever. This went so well that Badri is now putting together optional side tours for future tour groups to visit his village and villages like his for tourists to make donations to the local schools. I highly recommend you do this as it is such a feel good moment and the emotional joy of it all will is so overwhelming it will make you teary.
A group of us trekked to Everest Base Camp with Trek Nepal Himalayas recently. It was a great trip that was full of memorable moments and amazing views. Our guide Badri was very patient with each of us. He was knowledgeable, encouraging, accommodating and helpful. He not only provided excellent guide services and made sure the group had a safe trip, but also took care of his porter team. Our trip wouldn’t be this successful without the encouragement and support from Badri and the assistant guide Karan. During the time we stayed in Kathmandu, Badri and his staff offered great assistance to ensure we had a great time. If you are planning to visit Nepal, I highly recommend Trek Nepal Himalayas.
Three weeks with Trek Nepal Himalayas was an incredible experience. Our adventure included a day tour of Kathmandu, Everest flight with champagne at sunrise, flights to Bhutan with a few days touring around there. Our highlight in Bhutan was the climb to Tiger's Nest monastery and the amazing views from there.
Ten days trekking to Annapurna Base camp was wonderful. Our guide Badri made sure all our needs were met along the way. Nawin, our first in charge was very accommodating as well as the other 3 porters who lugged our stuff so we only had to carry a day pack.
Sunrise at Poon Hill was a must as well as putting up prayer flags at sunrise at the summit of our trip, Annapurna base camp. Just fab.
