After breakfast, we take an early scenic flight to Lukla, from where our trek begins. It will take about 40 min to reach stunning valley Lukla. After then, we gear up for a short trekking to reach today’s destination Phakding following Dudh Koshi the Dudh Koshi River. Overnight at Tea House.

On the second day of the trekking, take an early breakfast and start hiking to Namche Bazar; as the height rises, the trek gets exciting. On a clear day, you can glimpse Mount Everest before reaching Namche Bazar. Namche Bazar is known as the Sherpa Capital and is the last point to get the gear needed for trekking overnight at Namche Bazar.

Explore Sherpa Capital. It is always better to have an acclimatization day in Namche Bazar which allows your body to adapt the thin air. You can also explore the Sherpa capital in the daytime. Overnight at the teahouse.

The stunning traditional Sherpa village is our next destination for this day. After breakfast, we will trek Thame (3800m) from Namche Bazar. It will take about 5 hours to reach Thame from Namche Bazar. Thame Gompa is another attraction of today`s trek. Overnight at Thame.

After breakfast, we will start our trekking to astonishing place Marlung (4137m/5-6 hrs) from Thame(3800M).

After breakfast, we take ascend up the trail and walk through the deserted hillside to reach Lungdeng. After 5 hours strive walking, we will reach Lungdeng (4600M) overnight from Marlung (4137 M). The biggest glacier in the world, named Ngazumpa glacier, is the main attraction of this day.

After breakfast, we will start our journey to Gokyo from Lungdeng. Today is one of the most challenging trekking days because we will cross Renjo la Pass. From Lungdeng, we take an ascent trail and slowly head towards the pass. Gradually and carefully, we will cross the key, and when we reach the top of the Renjo La, we can enjoy the outstanding views. From Gokyo Lake, one can see shiny Mount Everest, lothse, Amadablam, etc. Overnight at Gokyo.

Explore the lakes around the Gokyo valley. Today you can also see the Ngazumpa Glacier, the biggest in the world. Enjoy exploring. Overnight at the teahouse.

Before breakfast, you will hike up to Gokyo Ri to collect the mesmerizing view of the sunrise in the Himalayas, including Everest and Makalu. After collecting the stunning views, you will trek back to Gokyo for breakfast. Then you will trek to Thagnak for the overnight. Overnight at the teahouse.

Passing the Cho La(5330m) is today`s target. The challenging pass offers some stunning views including an unusual aspect of Ama Dablam. The descent from the pass involves the crossing of a small glacier (usually snow-covered) which is fairly straightforward. We descend steeply to the grazing pastures below, the trail becoming more defined as we approach Dzongla (4830m), where we stay tonight in a tiny basic lodge.

A fabulous place, Labuche.(4910 m.) is our today’s destination from the Dzongla(4830 M). A short ascent brings us to the foot of Awi Peak, which we contour around on a beautiful high trail with great views of Chalotse and Tawoche across the valley. After that, we descend to catch the main course again just below Labuche. One can explore the breathtaking sunset view on Nuptse from the Labuche(4930 m). Overnight at Lobuche (4,930 m).

The trail from Labuche climbs steadily by the side of the Khumbu Glacier, and after crossing glacier rubble we arrive at Gorak Shep (5180 m), a summer yak-herder settlement situated at the foot of Kala Pattar. Then extend the walk to Everest base camp. Upon exploring Everest base camp, you will retrace back to Gorakshep for the night. Everest, Nuptse, Lingtren, Khumbutse, and Pumori etc. are the great Himalayan ridge we can explore during this day trip.

This day we will first trek to Kongma La Base Camp via Khumbu Glacier then ascend up to Kongma Pass which is one of the tough trekking parts of the day. After successfully passing Kongma, Lawe will then descend to Dingboche via Imja and Chukung valley. Overnight at Dingboche.

Setting destination Monjo, Today we descend to phungi thanga, follow the trail high above the Dudh Koshi river. Along the way, we have the last view of mountain Ama Dablam, Khan gets, and Tengboche monastery. Crossing Namche bazaar the path descends steeply down to the Dudh Kosi river with crossing a high bridge through Jorsale takes us at overnight place Monju.

Today is our final day of the Everest Three Passes trek. The stunning village Lukla is our today`s destination from the Monju.(2780m.). One can explore the Sherpa culture tradition at Lukla. Overnight at hotel.

You will take an early morning flight to Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, you will have enough time for the last-minute shopping. Overnight at the hotel.

What's Included?

  • Two times airport pick and drop off by a private vehicle
  • Domestic flight tickets (Kathmandu to Lukla and Lukla to Kathmandu), including airport taxes. If airlines change flight destination to Ramechap to Lukla and Lukla to Ramechap- then transportation is included too.
  • Tea house accommodation during the trekking as per itinerary. (The rooms will be on a sharing basis and will not have an attached bathroom). If you want to upgrade, then let us know at the time of booking. (Still no attached rooms available in Lobuche and Gorakshep. Likewise, there are limited options in Tengboche, too).
  • Meals during the trekking (3 meals a day)
  • Government-licensed English-speaking trek leader. 1:8 ratio.
  • Assistant guide(s) if there are more than 8 trekkers in a group (1:9 ratio).
  • Porter to help trekkers’ luggage. 2 trekkers will share 1 porter. The max weight limit for a porter- is 20 kg (10 kg per trekker, weight limit). You can store non-essential items in the Kathmandu hotel for free.
