Mount Cho Oyu is the sixth highest mountain in the world at 8188 meters above sea level. Cho Oyu means “Turquise Goddess” in Tibetan which is lies on the Nepal-China border. Cho Oyu peak stands 20 km west of the great Mount Everest. It is one of the section of Mahalangur Himalaya. Mount Cho Oyu Expedition is regarded as one of the straightest forward to climb. Therefore, it has highest rate of success than any other 8000 meters above mountains. On October 1954 Herbert Tichy, Joseph Johler & Sherpa Dawa Lama were conquered the Mount Cho Oyu Expedition superbly for the first time.
Cho Oyu massif consist five ridge i.e. Northwest, southwest , Northeast, Southeast & west with the Jabula Glacier on the north, Lanba Glacier & Gecongba glacier on the south. To join our mount cho oyu expedition you need to be fully conversant with mountaineering techniques. If you have prior experience of Apline & moraine then there is more comfortable & high success rate of Mount Cho Oyu Expedition.

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
Day 02-04: In Kathmandu optional tour and preparation for Mt. Cho-Oyu Expeditions
Day 05: Drive to Syabrubesi 1,460 m via Trisuli and Dhunche – 07 hrs.
Day 06: Drive to Kyirong 2,890 m (Kyidrong / Dzongga) County camp or in local Guesthouse
Day 07: In Kyirong rest day for acclimatization
Day 08: Drive to Old Tingri 4, 260 m – 05 hrs.
Day 09: At Old Tingri for rest and acclimatization
Day 10: Drive to Cho-Oyu Base Camp 4,800 m – 04 hrs.
Day 11: At base camp acclimatization and preparations
Day 12: Trek and climb to Advance Base Camp at 5,800m
Day 13: At Advance Base Camp preparation for the climb
Day 14: Rest and preparation for the climb of Mt. Cho-Oyu 8,201 m / 26,906 ft high.
Day 15 – 33: Ascent of Cho-Oyu from North Col (18 days climb to the summit top)
Day 34-36: Descend to base camp
Day 37: Clean up the base camp and packing for return journey
Day 38: Drive to Old Tingri 4,260 m – 04 hrs.
Day 39: Drive to Kyirong 2,890 m (Kyidrong –Dzongga) County camp or in local Guesthouse – 06 hrs.
Day 40: Drive to Dhunche town 1,950 m – 05 hrs.
Day 41: Drive back to Kathmandu – 05 hrs.
Day 42-43: In Kathmandu rest and submit expeditions report to concern department
Day 44: Departure Day
