Jomsom Muktinath Trek

Jomsom Muktinath Trek is an enkindle trek of Nepal in the Annapurna & Muktinath region. The fascinating trek will commence from Jomsom after a 30 min scenic flight to Jomsom. Before heading to Jomsom we will explore some UNESCO listed world heritage site in Kathmandu which includes The Monkey Temple,(Swoyambhunath), The crematory place(Pashupatinath), The light of Asia(Baudhha Stupa), The palace of Late king etc. The voyage passes through the eccentric village, cascading waterfalls, dense lush forest, and stunning Himalayan ridge etc.

 

The ethnic people, their culture, and living style give you splendiferous experience during Jomsom Muktinath Trek. The trekking trail of Muktinath pilgrimage trek goes through Deepest gorge on the earth namely Kali Gandaki gorge, Kagbeni, and Jomsom. Muktinath is a divine place for the Hindu and Buddhist place. Every year thousands of traveler goes there for worship.

 

Dipping our bodies into the hot spring at Tato Pani will also be a pleasing experience. The consecrated place Muktinath, 310 km far from Kathmandu & 100 far from the slough burg Pokhara. The spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) season considered as the best season for Muktinath Jomsom Trek when the weather of Muktinath is clear. Day 01: Drive to Pokhara (820m. 6 hours drive)(B/L/D)

 

Early in the morning, after breakfast, we drive to Pokhara by bus. It will take about 7 hours to reach Pokhara from the temple city Kathmandu. Drive through the green hills of Nepal will make your Pokhara driving interesting. Upon arriving Pokhara you will escort to your hotel. Exploring the pool city would be amazing after reaching Pokhara. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 02: Fly to Jomsom (2,800m. /30 minutes flight) and trek to Kagbeni(3,092m./ 3 hours trek)(B/L/D)

 

A scenic 30 minutes flight to from Pokhara will take you to the ravishing Jomsom. From Jomsom with 3 hours walk via Kaligandaki River beach you will reach Kagbeni which is restricted area permit check post. In Kagbeni one can see one of the oldest and epic Monasteries which was built in the 7th century. Overnight at Kagbeni.

 

Day 03: Kagbeni to Muktinath(3,800m.) via Jharkot (4 hours trek)(B/L/D)

 

Jharkot is our Today`s destination which is 4 hours walking distance far from the Kagbeni. On the way to Muktinath, you cross Jharkot. Jharkot is a culture reach local village having unique living style and this is also popular for Apple Gardens. In Muktinath, you will have enough time to explore Muktinath. Wonderful Muktinath temple, eternal light, and 108 spouts are the main highlights of Muktinath. Overnight at a teahouse.

 

Day 04: Muktinath to Jomsom (6 hours trek)(B/L/D)

 

Today, we set off from Muktinath to Jomsom to take a scenic flight to Kathmandu. After breakfast, we start to descent to Jomsom, it will take about 6 hours gentle walking to reach Jomsom. Overnight at a tea house.

 

Day 05: Fly back to Pokhara (30 minutes flight) and explore Pokhara(B/L/D)

 

With early morning flight, you will get back to Pokhara. At afternoon you will be doing Pokhara sightseeing. Pokhara sightseeing includes boating on Phewa Lake, visiting Tal Barahi and Bindabasini temples, walk to David&rsquos fall and exploring Gupteshowr Cave. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 06: Drive back to Kathmandu (6 hours drive)(B)

 

Today is our last day of Jomsom Muktinath trek in Nepal. From Pokhara, you take a charming drive to the capital city of Nepal Kathmandu. In evening you can walk around Thamel and can do some last minute shopping.
