Ghorepani Poon Hill, Ghandruk and Muldai Trek

The Muldai trek is a combination of three best trekking trail in the annaurna region namely ghorepani poon hill (3210 m, Ghandruk (Ethnic Gurung Village) and one of the hidden treasure of Annapurna region Muldai View Point. Muldai trek Via Ghorepani Poon Hill & Ghandruk offers mind-blogging view of magnificent panorama mountains views of Annapurna, ranges of Dhaulagiri, Lamjung, Fishtail, Gangapurna and diversity landscapes of surrounding valley. The Muldai View Point is situated east of Ghorepani at the elevation of 3640 Meters above from sea level.

 

The View Point of Muldai Trek is located within the Annapurna Conservation area. So, you can flexibly extend and linked with other trekking of the Annapurna trail.  The conservation area also offers an enthralling range of wildlife and remarkable flora and fauna, an unforgettable experience of the Himalayan ecosystems and cultures. The spring season (March- April) and autumn season (September-November) is considered as the best trekking season in Nepal but we are operating this trekking all around the year.

Day 01: Drive/Fly to Pokhara (6-7 hours drive or 30 minutes flight)

By Tourist Bus: – As your bus leaves early morning at 7 a.m., take an early breakfast and catch your bus from Tourist Bus Station. The journey to Pokhara is always wonderful as you will pass several small and big settlements via raging Trishuli River. On the way, the bus will stop for the lunch.

By Private Vehicle: – You can also drive to Pokhara with a private vehicle. Trek Nepal Himalayas arranges the private vehicle transportation to Pokhara on our client’s request. You are requested to add the request for the private vehicle while making the booking.

By Flight: Those who do not want to travel overland, or want to skip the long journey on the bumpy road can choose this option. The Flight will take around 30 minutes to get to Pokhara.

In Pokhara, you can finally check the gears and can hire or buy them if you have forgotten anything. In the evening walk around the wonderful Phewa Lake yourself. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Drive to Nayapul (1.5 hours drive) and trek to Ulleri (1960m./4-5 hours trek/ 8 km approx.)(L/D)

Take an early breakfast and get ready for the trekking. Today you will first take a short drive to Nayapul from Pokhara. From Nayapul, you will be starting your trekking. The trail from Nayapul is an easy trail where you walk through the stone paved steps passing several small villages. Just below Ulleri, you will be treated with the first glimpse of Annapurna South. Overnight in Ulleri at a teahouse.

Day 03: Trek to Ghorepani (2860m./6-7 hours/12km. approx.. )(B/L/D)

A tough yet wonderful trekking day. Today you will be trekking through the dense rhododendron forest. The hiking will be more special if it is in the spring as the Rhododendron blooms around with seven colors. Upon you reach Ghorepani, you will forget all the pains you had during the walking as the mountain views are just perfect and refreshing. Enjoy a hot cup of tea with awe-inspiring views of the mountains. Overnight at a teahouse.

Day 04:  Ghorepani to Poon Hill then Dobato (3460m/11351.71 ft.), 5-6hr walk

The best day of the trekking. Wake up early morning, take your torch light and start the hiking up to Poon Hill. It takes one hour to get up to Poon Hill from Ghorepani. At Poon Hill, you can collect the superb sunrise view in Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan ranges. After collecting wonderful memories in Poon Hill we return to Ghoorepani, have a breakfast and continue to Dobato. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 05 : Climb Muldai View Point (3640m/11942.26 ft.) and Back to Dobato

Today probably an excellent day. We reach to Muldai View Point which is our awaiting destination of Muldai Trek. We climb up to Muldai Viewpoint at 3640m which give us picturesque eyes level panorama mountains views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Lamjung, Fishtail & Gangapurna and diversity landscapes of surrounding valley. Afterwards we descend to Dobato. Overnight at Teahouse/Lodge.

Day 06:  Dobato to Ghandruk (1940m/6364.829 ft.), 5-6hr walk

After collecting the amazing views, trek back to Ghorepani for the breakfast, then after start your trek to Ghandruk. The trail of the day is mostly easy and downhill. In Ghandruk is a wonderful Gurung ethnic village. Ghandruk also offers the wonderful views of the mountains. You can also visit a museum there and can try some local costumes. Overnight at Ghandruk.

Day 07:  Trek to Nayapul then drive to Pokhara (823m/2,700ft), 4-5 walk+1h drive

The walk to Nayapul takes us along a beautiful undulating trail through surrounded by terraced fields, villages and river.

Day 08:  Drive/Fly to Kathmandu (6-7 hours’ drive or 30 minutes flight):

By Tourist Bus: – As your bus leaves early morning at 8 a.m., take an early breakfast and catch your bus from Tourist Bus Station and drive back to Kathmandu. On the way, the bus will stop for the lunch.

By Private Vehicle: – You can also drive back with a private vehicle. Trek Nepal Himalayas arranges the private vehicle transportation to Kathmandu on our client’s request. You are requested to add the request for the private vehicle while making the booking.

 By Flight: Those who do not want to travel overland, or want to skip the long journey on the bumpy road can choose this option. The Flight will take around 30 minutes to get to Kathmandu.

In Kathmandu, you can do some last shopping in Thamel. Overnight at hotel.
