Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m.) takes about seven hours.

The ethereal beauty of Pokhara valley is our today`s attraction.  After breakfast, we will drive for 7 hours by tourist bus before reaching to lake city Pokhara. Pokhara is the tourist paradise with full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, Buddhist and Hindu temples along with the magnificent views of mountain cliffs. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 02: Pokhara to Tolka (1700 meters) takes about 4-5 hours(L&D)

The glistening white peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges are the major attraction of this day. Today`s journey leads to Tolka(1700 meters). We will reach to Tolka after 4-5 hours continuous walk from the Pokhara.Overnight stay at Tea House.

Day 03: Tokla to Chomrong(2170 meters) takes about 5-6 hours(B/L/D)

The gateway of Annapurna Sanctuary trek is our next destination. From here, you get a grandstand view of the peaks that were visible on the trail. Do not miss the sunset view on Annapurna South from Chomrong. Our journey starts from Tokla(Tolga), goes through Midi, Landruk, sam rung etc. it will take about 5-6 hours to reach Chomrong.

Day 04: Chomrong to Himalaya (2920 meters) takes 6-7 hours(B/L/D)

The trek today begins with a descent on the stone steps towards Chomrung village. After 6-7 hours walk, we can get Himalaya (2920 meters). Our destination Himalaya leading through Sinuwa (2360 meters), Khuldighar(2540 meters), Bamboo(2310 meters)  Donovan(2600meters.

Day 05: Himalaya to Annapurna Base Camp(4130 meters)(B/L/D)

The base camp of Annapurna is our ultimate destination of our trek. You Gare surrounded by mountains at ABC. Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Gandharvachuli, and Machapuchare are right there in front of you. Pick a spot at the edge of the Annapurna glacier and soak in the views.

Day 06: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo(2310 meters) takes about 6-7 hours(B/L/D)

Today, trek includes long stretches of steep descent interspersed with short ascents. After exploring gorgeous Annapurna ranges from Annapurna Base Camp today we start to return Pokhara. Today, we stay in Bamboo rather than Himalaya because we want to give more to our client as much as possible to serve. Perhaps, today we walk more than other days. It will take about 6 hours to reach Bamboo. Overnight stay at Tea House.

Day 07: Bamboo to Jhinu Dhada(1780 meters) takes about 5 hours(B/L/D)

Jhino (1780meters) is our today`s destination. We will reach to Jhino Dhada after 5 hours continuous walking.The magnificent view of Mount Fishtail, fabulous diversity of nature makes your journey extra special. Overnight stay at Tea House.

Day 08: Jhinu to Pokhara(827 meters)(B&L)

It`s time to return the lake city Pokhara. Pokhara is the tourist paradise with full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as lakes, caves, Buddhist and Hindu temples along with the magnificent views of mountains. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 09: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu takes about seven hours

Our today`s journey leads through  Damauli, Dumre, Muglin, and Kurintar, where Nepal&rsquos first cable car joins the Manakamana Temple. From Naubishe you climb up to Thankot, the gateway to the capital city of Kathmandu. After collecting wonderful memories from Rapid Annapurna base camp trekking your trip conclude from the capital city Kathmandu. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Best Seasons:

Spring (March-May)

  • Spring is one of the best seasons. As you trek through the rhododendron forest you can see the rhododendron blooming around plus the views also get clearer

Autumn (September-November) 

  • Autumn is another best season for trekking Annapurna Base Camp. This time around, the views gets clear and amazing.

Winter (December-February)

  • Trekking Annapurna Base Camp in winter is also possible. But the atmosphere will be cold and it might be foggy too.


  • Trekking Annapurna Base Camp in Monsoon is not recommended because the heavy rainfall happens.

Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS)

It gets when you go up in the high mountains where the air is thin.

  • Headache
  • Problem on breathing
  • Dizziness
  • Nausea and Vomiting
  • Fatigue/loss of energy
  • Loss of appetite

Techniques for preventing AMS

  • Walk slowly and take small breaks during the trekking
  • Drink more water and avoid alcohol
  • Take acclimatization days during the trek
  • Avoid smoking
  • Eat light and high-calorie diets, foods in rich potassium is recommend
  • Get prepare with the warms clothes
  • It is better to try some hiking before going the high altitude.

Some Medication Suggestion of AMS

  • Paracetamol and Ibuprofen for headaches
  • Anti-sickness medicines, like promethazine for nausea
  • Acetazolamide to prevent and treat high altitude sickness

Common AMS treatment

  • Descend down to the lower altitude and go up again once you feel better. If it does not improve even after descending or get worse then you should see the doctor.
  • Take the suggested medicine, take ibuprofen or paracetamol for a headache, if you feel sick then take anti-sickness medicines.
  • Always share your companions if you are not feeling well so that they can help you before it is too late.

We will provide you 3-star category hotels in Kathmandu. During the trekking, you will be using the teahouses.

Foods, you get during the trekking is safe and healthy. In the altitude, we recommend you to eat the local food and the vegetarian. Our guides are knowledgeable will take you to the best places for the food.

During the trekking, you can get the bottled water easily and it cost US$ 2 in the low elevations and US$ 3-4 in higher elevations. Next option would be, taking 1 or 2-liter water bottle plus the water purifier with you so that you can use tap or spring water.
