Early in the morning we set off from Kathmandu and take scenic long drive towards Nepal mid west, journey leads to Beshishar town then on the dirt road to Khudi, Bhulbhule and Ngadi following the Marsyangdi River upstream, drive continues through rice terraces fields and villages to Syange, from here with a slow climb leaving the Marsyangdi River behind to reach first overnight stop at Jagat village, a farm village with many lodges for trekkers. From Jagat village morning walk leads on a gradual winding path to Chamje, and back at Marsyangdi River to crossing on the eastern bank and into forested area, with superb views of Annapurna and Manaslu mountain ranges, as the walk advances on the wide path to a nice village of Tal Besi, Here for lunch break, and then another 2-3 hours walk leads at Dharapani village for overnight stop, Dharapani a nice village situated on the junction of Annapurna circuit and Manaslu trekking trail. Overnight stay at Hotel or lodge/Tea House.
After Dharapani walk along the wide winding trail into serene rhododendron and pine forest passing villages of Bagachap and Danque, then to Timang village from here onwards into more Buddhist culture village with grand view of Mt. Manaslu 8,163m / 26,781ft, from Timang village few hours trek leads to Koto and then to Chame town for overnight stop, Chame a large and major town of Manang area and as well a head quarter of Manang district. Overnight at Hotel or Lodge/Teahouse.
The trail from Chame till Bhratang is an easy walking route. The trail then crossing the bridge, once it crosses the bridge it starts ascending and lead you to Lower Pisang for the overnight. Overnight in the teahouse.
The stunning place Ngawal is our next destination from Pisang. Our journey lead through spectacular Ngawal village anf Ghyaru Village. During this day we get opportunity to explore ancient house and monasteries. Overnight at Teahouse.
On the way, you will be passing several small settlements and Baraka is one of the highlight of them where the Braka Gompa- the biggest Buddhist Monastery in Manang situated. The monastery is believed to 400-500 years old. From there trek little further through the mani walls across a stream to get to Manang. Overnight in the teahouse.
An important and necessary rest day to get acclimatize before heading higher elevation and to Thorang-la pass, in Manang short hike and explore Manang village and valley, Manang a large village situated on windswept valley at the bank of Marsyangdi River beneath Annapurna and Gangapurna mountain range, a nice walk uphill for views of Gangapurna Glacier and the Manang emerald Lake. Overnight at Hotel or Lodge/Teahouse.
After having a rest for a day in Manang, today we make our way to the Tilicho Lake, located on the west of Manang all the way down to the river. After coming across the Khangsar Khola, we arrive at Khangsar and move to the village region which is traditional Tibetan type.
Tilicho Base Camp is our today`s planned destination from Khangsar. The trail from Shree kharka to Tilicho base camp is really dangerous and breathtaking. Tilicho base camp remaining at the elevation of 4200 meters above from the sea level. During this day`s trek we will get opportunity to explore amazing mountain vista, ancient monasteries and diverse landscape etc.
After breakfast, we tight up our shoes to set off for Tilicho from Tilicho Base Camp. In order to avoid the wind, we start our journey early in the morning. The journey to Tilicho takes three to four hours. Tilicho Lake is a freezing desolate place in the afternoon and recognized as highest lake of the earth. After exploring Tilicho lake we back to Tilicho Base Camp (Teahouse) for Overnight.
After a good time at Manang and Tilicho Lake, morning adventure leads towards Khangsar village on the uphill path to Yak Kharka, an interesting high altitude walk with super scenery of the snowcapped mountains, then crossing the river to reach Yak Kharka a small settlement, offering tremendous views of Gangapurna, Annapurna III and Chulu Peaks. Overnight at Hotel or Lodge/Teahouse.
The trail from Yak Kharka gradually ascends up to Ledar. From there you will further ascend up to Thorang Phedi. Overnight in the teahouse.
Big Day! the highlight of this great adventure, after an early breakfast walk leads to a long climb up to Thorang-la with a steep terrain and winding path to Thorung La Pass at 5,416 m / 17,700 ft.
The highest point of this adventure offering super views of snowcapped peaks, and then a long descend to Muktinath at 3,800 m.
On reaching Muktinath for overnight stop, a holy place for both Hindus and Buddhists the word Muktinath literally means ‘the place for Nirvana or Liberation’. Overnight at Hotel or Lodge/Teahouse.
After Muktinath rest of the journey will be easier with moderate walks all the way to Jomsom as the walk drops to 1,200m downhill to Kaligandaki river valley, this pleasant trail reaching the vast Kaligandaki river valley with a small break at Ekalebhatti.
From here gets windy in the afternoon time, a few hours walk to Jomsom, headquarter of Mustang region with an airstrip located above Kaligandaki River.
Here at Jomsom with last night in the mountain village, celebrate with local apple products like cider, brandy and juice this area from Kagbeni to Marpha & Larjung famous for delicious apple and its product. Overnight at Hotel or Lodge/Teahouse.
Early breakfast and transfer to Jomsom airport for sweeping short flight of 25 minutes to Pokhara, during airborne mesmerizing views of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiris and Annapurna range of mountains with rolling hills dotted with farm villages,
On reaching Pokhara airport transfer to respective hotels by the serene lake Phewa, afternoon free for individual activities or just relax and enjoy the views of the Annapurna Himalaya. Overnight at Hotel or Lodge/Teahouse.
After collecting wonderful memories from Tilicho Lake trek we again take scenic flight to Kathmandu. A flight to Kathmandu takes 30 Min.

We went on a short tour to Bhutan and wow what an amazing place! It is so beautiful with its mountain regions and traditional culture. Visiting Tigers Nest monetarist was definitely the highlight of the Bhutan trip. We later returned to Kathmandu and made our way to Pokhara where we took off for the Annapurna Base Camp trek. This was my first time trekking and my fitness level is not the best but Badri and the boys (the sherpa's) were great at catering the trip to our needs. All timings along the way were perfect and we all got to ABC and back without a hitch. Badri and the boys made us feel like we were part of their family and were all smiles and fun. We all played cards together of a night where they taught us to play Dumbal and we taught them Uno. They went above and beyond to cater for us and were watching us like hawks for signs altitude sickness as we got closer to the top. All guest houses that we stayed out were pleasant and all had hot showers. Badri was well respected by the locals along the way and we were welcomed everywhere we went. I actually felt like a bit of a VIP on the mountain when we were trekking with Badri!
I really loved my experience in Nepal and all thanks to Trek Nepal Himalayas. I'm going to miss these guys and can't wait to go back!
I recently spent three and a half weeks holidaying in Nepal with Trek Nepal Himalayas. My partner and I arrived a few days early from the organised tour and Badri from Trek Nepal Himalayas was very accommodating to us by organising our extra accommodation, picking us up from the airport, and organised an extra day tour for us to Nagarkot which was really nice. They also arranged for us to visit the old palace (now a museum) and the Garden of dreams. After the rest of the group arrived we did some sight seeing around Kathmandu visiting the monkey temple, durbar square, the Boudhanath temple and the crematorium.
Our guide Nawin and and other guides arranged throughout the tour were all very knowledgeable of the history of each place that we visited and gave good commentary along the way. Next we went on a day trip to Badri's village. In organising this tour, our group wanted to help out after the earthquake. It turned out Badri's village was badly damaged by the quake and the school was destroyed.
When planing this trip we arranged with Badri for him to take us out to his village so we could make donations of stationary, toys and sporting goods to the school. The village was well off the beaten track and it was a unique opportunity to visit an area that tourists generally don't get to see. The scenery along the way was magic and the drive was quite an adventure. When we arrived the whole village was out to give us a warm friendly welcome with marigold flower necklaces and we each received a blessing. The kids were so excited to see us and were over the moon to receive our donations of stationary, sporting goods and toys.I t was a truly beautiful experience and these memories will stay in my heart forever. This went so well that Badri is now putting together optional side tours for future tour groups to visit his village and villages like his for tourists to make donations to the local schools. I highly recommend you do this as it is such a feel good moment and the emotional joy of it all will is so overwhelming it will make you teary.
A group of us trekked to Everest Base Camp with Trek Nepal Himalayas recently. It was a great trip that was full of memorable moments and amazing views. Our guide Badri was very patient with each of us. He was knowledgeable, encouraging, accommodating and helpful. He not only provided excellent guide services and made sure the group had a safe trip, but also took care of his porter team. Our trip wouldn’t be this successful without the encouragement and support from Badri and the assistant guide Karan. Three weeks with Trek Nepal Himalayas was an incredible experience. Our adventure included a day tour of Kathmandu, Everest flight with champagne at sunrise, flights to Bhutan with a few days touring around there. Our highlight in Bhutan was the climb to Tiger's Nest monastery and the amazing views from there.
Ten days trekking to Annapurna Base camp was wonderful. Our guide Badri made sure all our needs were met along the way. Nawin, our first in charge was very accommodating as well as the other 3 porters who lugged our stuff so we only had to carry a day pack.
Sunrise at Poon Hill was a must as well as putting up prayer flags at sunrise at the summit of our trip, Annapurna base camp. Just fab.
