Sikles Village trekking is a freshly opened and celibate trekking routes in the Annapurna region. It is a remarkable trekking route offers a variety of terrain from low land villages and rich terrain up to Nepali largest Gurung (Gurkha) village. Sikles Trek also offers blooming forests of rhododendron in the spring. We can embark the stunning view of snow-capped Himalayan ridges such as Annapurna IV (7,525 meters) Annapurna II (7,939 meters), Lamjung Himal (6,932 meters), Manaslu, and much more dozen summits below 6000 meters. The ethnic Gurung village and culture of Gurung people, Bang of Mardi Khola (1,980m) is the another paramount entice strand of Sikles village Trek. Many Gurungs people have served in the British Army as Gurkhas. The Gurung settlement people follow with Shaman priest and the Buddhist priest in marriage, death and dealing with ill fate. The journey passes through dense oak, rhododendron and Bamboo forest.

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu (1334 meters above sea level)
Upon arriving in Kathmandu (Tribhuvan International Airport), a Trek Nepal Himalayas representative will meet you and help you transfer to your hotel by private bus. Enjoy a free evening to explore Kathmandu and recover from your jet-lag. Meet the Trek Nepal Himalayas staff during a short pre-tour briefing before dinner.
Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara (820 meters/7 hrs drive or 45-minute air flight)
The pothole city Pokhara is our today`s destination. We will head towards Pokhara either by tourist bus or Plane. You will get opportunities to taste Nepalese food Dal, Bhat and Achar in muglin if you prefer overland transportation. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 3: Pokhara to Ghalegoan (2713 meters/4 hrs trek)(Include dinner)
Ghalegoan is our today’s destination from Pokhara. The trail to Ghalegoan is passed through Bhurjung Khola. Along the route, we will see the place where the local village men go hunting for honey. The area is also culturally rich and displays a diverse variety of ethnic traditions. You can explore traditional Nepalese village.
Day 4: Ghalegoan to Tara Tops (3056 meters/4 hrs trek)(B/L/D)
Tara Tops (3056 meters) is our today`s destination. The journey passes through bang of seti river. During the trip, you can capture the stunning view of kind snow-capped mountains such as Lamung Himal, Annapurna South, Fish Tail, and Annapurna III and Annapurna IV.
Day 5: Tara Tops to Parche (1760 meters/4½ hrs trek)(B/L/D)
Leaving behind the campsite at Tara Tops we bid farewell to the breathtaking views and trek mostly downhill through magnolia and rhododendron forests towards Parche in the lower foothills.
Day 6: Parche and Village Visit (1760 meters)(B/L/D)
Gurung dominated region Sikles is our today’s destination. The Gurkha soldier, usually recruited from this area, is renowned for his hardiness and skill in battle. The enthralling views of Annapurna II, Annapurna IV, and Lumjung Himal etc. make today`s trip fabulous.
Day 7: Parche to Lamakhet and transfer to Pokhara (820 meters)(Breakfast and Lunch)
The stunning Lama Khet is our today`s destination. The trek is mostly downhill through rural farming lands and at times passes alongside the Mardi Khola River. From Lama khet, it takes about one and half hour drive back to Pokhara along some Jikjak and ready roads.
Day 8: Pokhara to Kathmandu (1335 meters/6 hrs car ride or 45-minute air flight)
Time to return Kathmandu to take a flight to a homeland. We need to travel back to Kathmandu overland to the see the green and fertile landscape of Gorkha and Dhading districts or enjoy spectacular mountain views by plane. In the evening, you will join the group dinner and drinks to celebrate your trekking success with Trek Nepal Himalayas.
Day 9: Fly Back Home
A Trek Nepal Himalayas representative will accompany you to the airport to catch your returning flight. We hope to see you again soon! Namaste!!
