October 1st: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. (1334m.)

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu airport, one of our representatives will welcome and transfer you to the hotel. In the free time get refreshed from the jetlag. Overnight at the hotel.

october 2nd: Kathmandu valley sightseeing and preparation day. (B/D)

Kathmandu valley sightseeing is dedicated to introducing the four of the UNESCO World Heritage listed sites in Kathmandu including Soyambhunath, Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath and Kathmandu Durbar Square.
After the sightseeing, you will have time to double check your gears for the trekking. In the evening, there will a pre-trip meeting and a welcome dinner in authentic Nepali restaurant. Overnight in the hotel.-

October 3rd: Drive to BhulBhule (840m./8-9hours drive/200 km approx.) the  (B/L/D)

 

You will take an early morning drive from Kathmandu to Bhulbhule. Along the way, you will be driving through the green hills and passing through some small and large settlements. Overnight in the teahouse.

October 4th: Trek to Jagat (1,300m/4-5 hours trek/ 7km approx.) (B/L/D)

Take an early breakfast, then after you will start your trek to Jagat. The trail is mostly easy where will cross farmlands and some small settlements. Overnight in the teahouse.

October 5th: Trek to Dharapani (1,860m/5-6 hours trek/8km approx.) (B/L/D)

The trail from Jagat to Dharapani is mostly easy uphill. You will first ascend to Chamche, then further to Tal and continue of trekking to Dharapani for the overnight. Overnight in the teahouse.

Day 6th: Dharapani to Chame (2,670m/5-6 hours trek/8 km approx.) (B/L/D)

Take an early breakfast, then you will start the trekking. From Dharapani you will first trek to Bagarchap through an easy trail. Most of the route today is not hard. You will reach to Chame by late afternoon. Overnight in the teahouse.

October 7th: Trek to Lower Pisang (3,200m/4-5 hours trek/7 km approx.) (B/L/D)

The trail from Chame till Bhratang is an easy walking route. The trail then crossing the bridge, once it crosses the bridge it starts ascending and lead you to Lower Pisang for the overnight. Overnight in the teahouse.

October 8th: Trek to Manang (3,500m/5-6 hours/8 km approx.) (B/L/D)

On the way, you will be passing several small settlements and Baraka is one of the highlight of them where the Braka Gompa- the biggest Buddhist Monastery in Manang situated. The monastery is believed to 400-500 years old. From there trek little further through the mani walls across a stream to get to Manang. Overnight in the teahouse.

October 9th: Rest day in Manang (3,500m) (B/L/D)

An extra day in Manang is for acclimatization. In the free time, you can walk around the village. Overnight in the teahouse.

October 10th: Manang to Yak Kharka (4,050m/4-5 hours trek/7 km approx. ) (B/L/D)

The trail from Manang to Yak Kharka is mostly uphill. Along the way, you will be passing several meadows where the Yak and horse grazes. A big stream having its source Chulu Peak is one of the attractions of the day. You will be reaching Yak Kharka late afternoon. In the free time, you can walk around. Overnight in the hotel.

October 11th: Trek to Thorong Phedi (4,525m/4-5 hours trek/ 7 km approx.) (B/L/D)

The trail from Yak Kharka gradually ascends up to Ledar. From there you will further ascend up to Thorang Phedi. Overnight in the teahouse.

October 12th: Pass Thorong La (5,416m) and trek to Muktinath (3,800m/7-8 hours trek/9 km approx. ) (B/L/D)

Set off early in the morning to reach the Pass around mid-day. The trail becomes instantly steep after leaving Phedi but not hard to follow. 4-6 hours of ascending up the lead to the apex of the Pass, which is decorated with prayer flags, a chorten, and stone cairns built by travelers. The views of the Annapurna Himal from the pass are well worth the climb. Further, the trail descends steeply before reaching Chabarbu. From there we cross meadows, drops into a deep gorge, climbs out again and follows a wide trail to Muktinath, a pilgrimage site held in great respect by both Hindus and Buddhists.  Overnight in the teahouse.

October 13th: Trek to Kagbeni(2,810m/4-5hours trek/6 km approx.) (B/L/D)

The trail from Muktinath to Kagbeni is short and easy. As you had a hard previous day you can start walking late morning. Overnight in the teahouse.

October 14th: Trek to J0msom (2,700m/5-6 hours trek/8 km approx.) (B/L/D)

The trail from Kagbeni to Jomsom is mostly downhill. Along the way, you will be trekking through the Kaligandaki river. Jomsom is widely popular as the Apple Village where you can taste fresh apple.It looks like a desert. Overnight in the teahouse.

October 15th :Fly To Pokhara

With early morning flight, you will to Pokhara.. Overnight at hotel.

October 16th:Drive/Fly Back To Kathmandu

 

By Tourist Bus: – As your bus leaves early morning at 8 a.m., take an early breakfast and catch your bus from Tourist Bus Station and drive back to Kathmandu. On the way, the bus will stop for the lunch.

By Private Vehicle: – You can also drive back with a private vehicle. Trek Nepal Himalayas arranges the private vehicle transportation to Kathmandu on our client’s request. You are requested to add the request for the private vehicle while making the booking.

By Flight: Those who do not want to travel overland, or want to skip the long journey on the bumpy road can choose this option. The Flight will take around 30 minutes to get to Kathmandu.

In Kathmandu, you can do some last shopping in Thamel. Overnight at hotel.

October 17th: Fly back home

After completing an amazing trip, this day you will be transferred to the airport to catch your returning flight. Trip Ends.
