Tamang Heritage Trekking is widely popular because of rich customs of typical Tamang People who reside in the Langtang valley and Stunning trails of mount Langtang. It is newly opened trekking trail in Langtang region which is located in between Ganesh and Langtang Himal. The marvelous Tamang Heritage Trekking offers to explore untouched and unspoiled nature, fabulous monasteries, and a stunning view of snow-capped Himalayan ranges such as Langtang Lirung (7,245m), Dorje Lakpa (6,989m.), Paldor Peak, Shringi Himal, Ganesh Himal, Paldor Peak, Shringi Himal, Chumse Danda (5,122m.) Jugal Himal, Manaslu and Sanjen Himal ranges.

 

During Langtang Heritage Trekking, we can also explore kind glacier and lakes such as Gosaikunda, Bhairavkunda, Pravatikunda. Except that Tatopani &ldquoNatural Hot Spring&rdquo, Nagthali viewpoint, Rasuwagadhi (Tibet Border) are other highlights of Tamang Heritage Trek. The Tamang Heritage Trek will commence from Syabrubesi after about 7 hours drive from Kathmandu. We will continue our trekking towards Gatlang village and natural hot spring & Timure. Tamang Heritage Trekking is a sweet & short trekking trail to explore the unique customs, culture, tradition, and culture.

 

The month of September to November and April to May considered as the best trekking season.

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,334m.)

Upon your arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, a Trek Nepal Himalayas representative will be there for your warm welcome and help you to get to your hotel. Evening will be for a welcome dinner with Trek Nepal Himalayas staff in one of the typical Nepali restaurant. Overnight in hotel.

 

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing (1,334m.)

Take your breakfast and get ready for a guided full day sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley. The sightseeing program is focused to introduce some highlights of UNESCO World Heritage sites of Kathmandu such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath ,also known as &ldquoMonkey Temple&rdquo, Pashupatinath &ndashtemple of Lord Shiva and Bouddhanath a Buddhist place. After sightseeing evening will be for trek briefing and preparation of things per need.

 

Day 3: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. (1420m.)

After 7 hours scenic drive we will reach Syabrubesi from Kathmandu. we drive north-west out of the Kathmandu Valley, with following the Trisuli River crossing beautiful Tamang villages of Betrawati and Dhunche. At Dhunche we sight the first view of Langtang Himal.

 

Day 4: Syabrubesi to Gatlang (2,200m. / 5 hours)

After breakfast, we will start our walking from Syabrubesi to Gatlang. It will take 5 hours to reach gatlang. After, ascent to Goljang village we are able to see the magnificent views of Ganesh Himal and Gosaikunda ranges. After having lunch at Goljang, we will head towards Gatlang a beautiful small village on the hillside with traditional stone houses. Enjoy the local hospitality and stay overnight at Gatlang.

 

Day 5: Gatlang to Tatopani (2,607m. / 6-7 hours)

Today might be our longest walking day of our trip because we need to walk for about 6-7 hour. We first descend to Thangbauchet the Chilme Hydropower&rsquos Dam place. Then our trail ascents up and takes us to Tatopani the Natural Hot Spring place where we can take bath. The Literal meaning of Tato pani Hot Water. Stay overnight at Tatopani.

 

Day 6: Tatopani to Thuman (2,400m. / 6hours)

Day to trek a beautiful Tibetan influenced Tamang settlement-Thuman. To reach Thuman we will cross Brimdang and Nagthali. On the way to Thuman we can enjoy the picturesque views of Langtang, Sanjen, Kerung and Ganesh Himal ranges. After reaching we can explore around Thuman village and observe their typical Tamang traditions and cultures. Overnight.

 

Day 7: Thuman to Briddim (2,345m. /6 hours)

Leave Thuman and head towards Briddim. Briddim is a Tibetan Buddhist village situated on the lap of Langtang Himal. Dukchu Gompa Monastery and houses made of stone are the things to see in beautiful Briddim Village. Stay overnight at Briddim.

 

Day 8: Briddim to Syabrubesi (1,420m. / 6hours

From Briddim today we trek downhill to Syabrubesi through lush vegetation and green forest. Overnight at Syabrubesi.

 

Day 9: Drive back Kathmandu (1,334m. / 8 hours)

A final day of Tamang Heritage trek, after breakfast we drive back to Kathmandu from Syabrubesi. Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, we will transfer you to your hotel. In leisure time you can do last minute shopping in Thamel or can explore any sights that you missed the first day. The evening will be for a farewell dinner.

 

Day 10: Fly back home

Collecting all sweet memories in Nepal Today is our departure day. A Trek Nepal Himalayas representative will accompany you to Tribhuvan International Airport. See you again in the Himalayan Kingdom. Namaste!!
